TIVI Launcher (the Android TV app) does not collect, store, sell, or share personal data. The app does not include analytics SDKs, ad SDKs, or behavioral tracking.

The public website may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and improve site performance. This website analytics usage is separate from the Android TV app and does not change the app's no in-app tracking behavior.

TIVI Launcher is an Android TV launcher that replaces the default home screen and provides a customizable interface. App behavior is focused on local device UI functionality.

TIVI Launcher File Manager is the official companion app for TIVI Launcher, required for file and folder selection on Android TV and Google TV. This app enables features like custom wallpapers, custom icons, and local configuration backups by allowing you to securely and privately select files and folders—even on devices that lack a working native file picker.

• May request "All Files Access" permission, but only to support backup and restore of your TIVI Launcher layout (.tivibak files) across your device’s storage. This is necessary on some TV devices where the system file picker is missing or broken.
• This permission is used solely for user-initiated backup/restore actions. No data is indexed, scanned, uploaded, or shared—access is strictly local and under your control.
• For other features (custom backgrounds, icons, etc.), you only grant access to the specific files or folders you choose.
• No ads, no analytics, no tracking, and no internet permission required for local file browsing.
• Only activated when you use a TIVI Launcher feature that requires file or folder selection (e.g., setting a custom background, icon, or restoring a backup).
• Does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All file access is local and user-initiated.
• Requires TIVI Launcher to be installed on your device.

TIVI Launcher uses Android AccessibilityService strictly to support launcher functionality on devices where manufacturer restrictions prevent standard HOME behavior.

• Monitors window state changes so TIVI Launcher can remain the active primary interface.
• Supports reliable navigation behavior across different Android TV remote types.
• Helps restore launcher visibility on startup for a consistent user experience.

TIVI Launcher does not use AccessibilityService to collect keystrokes, read screen content for profiling, or gather personal information.

Any launcher settings are stored locally on the user's device. TIVI Launcher does not transmit personal data to external servers and does not share user data with third parties.

If the optional weather widget is enabled, the app may send approximate location information to OpenWeather (or another configured weather provider) solely to retrieve current weather conditions and forecast data for the selected area.

• This location usage is limited to providing weather information within the launcher.
• TIVI Launcher does not use this data for advertising, analytics, or profiling.
• The weather widget can be disabled if the user does not want weather lookups performed.

Requests to third-party weather providers are subject to those providers' own privacy practices.

Premium purchases are processed through Google Play Billing. TIVI Launcher does not collect or store credit card numbers or other payment card details.

• Google may process transaction and purchase history as part of the Play billing flow.
• The app may locally reflect purchase status, such as whether premium features are unlocked, so purchased functionality can be made available on the device.
• Payment processing and purchase records handled by Google Play are governed by Google's own privacy policy and billing terms.

TIVI Launcher does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
